Our poster "Waiting and Consultation Time in Urology OPD" was featured in the European Association of Urology 37th Annual congress, held on 01-04 July Netherlands 2022.

Dr Hassan is a medical doctor by profession and Healthcare Data Analyst by passion. His fellow colleagues refer to him by Publishing Powerhouse. He is holding a bachelors degree in medicine from Islamabad Medical & Dental College and a Master's degree in Public Health from Health Services Academy under the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination Pakistan, with A grades in Qualitative Research, Applied Epidemiology and biostatistics as well as  Hospital Management. His thesis topic was Exploring Determinants of Lifestyle Practices with Chronic Diseases among different professionals. This has been registered on Clinical Trials.gov having ID no NCT05865717. He has followed his passion and completed his second Master's in Data Analytics from the BPP University, London United Kingdom. At the time, he held the position of Care Coordinator at the Association for Social Development Pakistan. His role included strategic planning and development of the Ponseti method to treat clubfoot in collaboration with Miracle feet (a North Carolina-based non-profit Organization). He was also involved in training the doctors & allied health staff at district level on management of Hypertension-CVD & Type 2 Diabetes through training modules jointly developed by the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Punjab Pakistan and Nuffield Center for International Health & Development, University of Leeds UK. Additionally, he oversaw the comprehensive evaluation of the diabetes care manual, being financed by the World Diabetes Foundation (WDF) based in Bagsvaerd, Denmark. 

Dr Hassan is a registered Clinical Research Practitioner at the Academy for Healthcare Science UK. He has been working in clinical trials from the past three years including REVISE ICU based trial, COVID-19 Antiviral treatment S-217622, HIP ATTACK 2,  LVRNA COVID-19 Booster Vaccine, WET Age Related Macular Degeneration AVT06, Bi-26 Supplementation on infants for weight Gain & CanSino Vaccine Trial in collaboration with McMaster University Canada, Population Health Research Institute Canada, Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute, Alvotech Swiss AG, Shionogi Inc Japan, IQVIA USA, Can Sino Biologics Inc, Beijing Institute of Biotechnology & AIM Vaccine Co Ltd China. He was involved in writing the REVISE trial Protocol, which is published in BMC Medical Research Methodology IF 4.

He has been awarded membership as a fellow of The Royal Society of Medicine & The Royal Society of Public Health, United Kingdom. He has been elected to International Practitioner Membership of the Faculty of Public Health, Royal College of Physicians UK & as a member of  the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health UK.  He has been awarded membership of the European Public Health Association (EUPHA), through membership of the UK Faculty of Public Health.

Following his graduation from in January 2020, he completed seven weeks of Clinical Electives in Urology at Guy's & St Thomas Hospital in London, United Kingdom.  He conducted a Clinical Audit & additionally shadowed a General Physician for a week at Surrey Docks Health Centre in London.

Being a Med-entrepreneur, he has founded Resear-Ligent based in UK, which mentors’ medical researchers providing important academic literacy, as well as peer assistance, to students & physicians in skill development and research. He has submitted a Patent Application for Online Research Benchmark Software at IP Office UK. 

Dr Hassan has co-authored a chapter on “ Regulatory requirements to conduct clinical trials in Pakistan” in the Handbook of Randomized Controlled Trials at COMSTECH- THE ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY OF UGANDA TRAINING ON RANDOMIZED CLINICAL TRIALS 20-21 March 2023.

Dr Hassan is the Course Facilitator for the Students Research Mentorship Program, which is run in partnership with the BMY Health Research Unit. Also serving in ISCI International Society for Chronic Illnesses Peer Research Mentorship Program (PRMP) mentor. He has mentored students of B. P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences & Kathmandu Medical College (Nepal) for Alexis 2022 Research Protocol Competition in collaboration with Global Consortium of Medical Education and Research (GCMER) & Symbiosis Medical College for Women on a research project “Prevalence of Sugar Cravings and its association with obesity among Medical Students”. Objective of this study is to assess the prevalence of sugar cravings among medical students of BPKIHS and KMCTH and to assess its association with obesity.

He has received the Young Investigator Award at Rehman Medical Institute during the International Conference on Health Research (ICHR), presented by the Honourable President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi on 22 June 2023. In addition, he has been nominated for Best Researcher by NESIN Awards in the International Research Awards on New Science Inventions Sep 2022. 

Dr. Hassan was awarded a certificate of appreciation for his work as a frontline health care worker while serving as a Vaccination Officer at the COVID-19 Vaccination Centre in KRL Hospital Islamabad on behalf of the National Command and Operation Centre, Ministry of National Health Services Regulations & Coordination Pakistan.

Dr Hassan has presented numerous e-posters at international conferences, namely 11th Eurasian URO-ONCOLOGY Congress, APPNE 3rd Annual Health Convention, and 34th Saudi Urological Association Annual Meeting. He was invited to speak at the 2nd World Congress on Nephrology, Urology & Kidney Failure and was a speaker at the Manuscript Writing Webinar, organized by Shifa International Hospital Pakistan. His poster "Waiting & Consultation Time in Urology OPD" was featured in the European Association of Urology 37th Annual Congress, held on 01-04 July Netherlands 2022. This was the only one from Pakistan among the six accepted abstracts from across the world. He presented a case of "Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer" at a webinar organised by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He has recently been invited to present a paper on "Prevalence of Smoking Among Patients Suffering from Major Depressive Disorder Among Twin Cities of Pakistan” at the 23rd INTERNATIONAL PSYCHIATRY CONFERENCE. He also presented at the 12th Annual Public Health Conference Research2Action held at Health Services Academy, titled “Assessing Use of Contraceptive Methods for Family Planning among Urban Married Women of Rawalpindi”. 

He has presented a two-day session on Clinical Audits in collaboration with BMY HEALTH & Dr Tahir Khan from Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) NHS Trust UK. He presented a poster “RIPASA Scoring System: A New Era in Appendicitis Diagnosis” at APPNE Annual Convention Newark UK. He has also joined the training session for Polio Vaccination Lots Quality Assurance Sampling organized by Pakistan Polio Eradication Programme & World Health Organization. He has worked on "Burnout level and coping strategies among Health Care Providers during COVID-19 Pandemic" in collaboration with Center for Global Public Health Pakistan & University of Manitoba, Canada funded by WHO EMRO.

Dr Hassan is currently working on the Fuel poverty project, an NHS  initiative offered to Primary Care Network (PCN) in collaboration with Leeds GP Confederation UK. He has also collaborated for "Accessibility and Acceptability of digital pain self-reporting tool for pain assessment and management among Pakistanis living with musculoskeletal chronic pain" in association with Centre for Health Informatics, Imaging and Data Sciences, Faculty of Biology Medicine and Health at the University of Manchester UK.

Dr Hassan has delivered a talk titled “ Data Display and Summary Statistics”. at the Healthcare Research & Innovation Landscape in Pakistan Webinar organised by APPNA MERIT Research subcommittee and YPC, and IFMSA-Pakistan, in collaboration with CHSR (Center for Health Sciences Research). He was invited as a keynote speaker at Research Innovesta organized by the Research Society of Central Park Medical College Lahore Pakistan. He has recently chaired as moderator of the robotic surgery session at the 10th Golden Bridge International Urology Conference, conducted by Kunming Medical University & Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University China.

Dr Hassan has published over 185 peer-reviewed publications having 1433 citations with an h-index of 18 on Google Scholar & an h-index of 16 with 1177 citations on Research Gate . He has been published in Scientific Reports Nature IF 4.6 & MDPI Vaccines IF 7.8 Q1 journal, Multidisciplinary Healthcare Journal IF 2.7 Q2 journal. He is serving as a reviewer for Annals of Medicine and Surgery, Health Science Reports, Frontiers in Medicine & Public Health, SN Comprehensive Clinical Medicine, PLOS ONE, Journal of Infection & Public Health, Journal of Clinical Urology. He serves as an editorial board member for PLOS ONE & World Health Family Medicine Journal.

Dr. Manahil Rahat is a dental surgeon by profession. She has an undergraduate distinction in Oral Pathology and a postgraduate masters in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology from the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Pakistan continuing her passion for learning and exploring multiple dimensions of the field. Her thesis topic is "Worst Pattern Of Invasion In Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma: An Independent Prognostic Indicator". This has been registered on Clinical Trials.gov having ID no NCT05927220. She has won a grant of 100,000 PKR for her project. 

She has a background in research and has attended Army Medical College, Rawalpindi, where she learned research methodology and scientific writing. She has won a grant of 200,000 PKR for her project titled "Immunohistochemical Expression of p53 in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma: Clinical & Prognostic Significance".

Dr. Manahil Rahat, bestowed the name "Resear-Ligent" for this company. The phrase "Recherche," derived from French, signifies the act of actively looking or searching.

She is a Dental Care Professional registered with the General Dental Council UK. She completed a 2-hour Basic Life Support (Adult & Child) Training Course at Woolwich Gentle Dental Care. In addition, she has successfully finished the Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Refresher course in 2024, offered by NIHR UK. and Level 3 Immediate Life Support (ILS) for dental procedures

Her abstract has been accepted for the 44th Annual Conference of Pakistan Association of Pathologists (PAP) & 9th Joint Conference of Societies of Pathology.
